KL Day 3 / 4 - Jump Street, Wang Chiew Seafood Restaurant, Second Sunday, Ben's Grocer and Byebye

Too many days of sinful eating we decided to start our day with jumping our feet off (literally) at Jump Street.
22myr each for an hour. There is even this aerobic which we joined after we explored the whole place. One word, TOUGH. So much admiration for the lady that did the full course which was an hour

It was almost lunch time we headed to Wang Chiew Seafood Restaurant @ SS2.
Black Hokkien Mee YASSSSS. Its like a MUST EAT in Malaysia. The best is there.
We had Assam Fish Slice and Cereal Sotong as well

Close by was Blossom Deli Cafe. Old school concept, lots of locals as well. We got a slice of cake while waiting for our grab car

Headed back to shower and off we went to Second Sunday. Really famous for their "Pankek" which was pandan flavored pancakes with caramelized banana slices, coconut flakes and gula melaka syrup

We walked around the vanity and headed to our last stop.  Ben's General Food Store. Its like a grocer cum restaurant concept. One unique thing is you can purchase mains for example ribs, steaks and even seafood from the grocer and have it cooked at the restaurant.

Almost got chased out by the security guard because I was taking photo of the sign board. Guess they don't want anybody stealing their arrangment concept.
In my defence, there was no "No Photo taking" sign anywhere

We ordered Tiger Prawns and Breakfast Pizza. The pizzas were pretty great with thin crispy crust and flavorful toppings. We could see the pizza making due to open kitchen concept. Plus one for freshness.

Last day 31/05/2016. We had to make our way to airport early to catch our morning flight. Had our last meal for the trip at Wendy's

It was our first lifegroup trip so glad everyone was steady about it and making it possible. Special thanks to Nadine that organised this trip and all we had to do was to open our mouth to chew hahahah
Really awesome trip with great company

KL Day 2 - Fluffed Cafe & Dessert Bar, Karaoke and Green View Restaurant

Sleep was more important, I did not hit the gym

Started the day with herbal Bak Kut Teh. The tau pok is like how the saying goes "Simplicity is the Key to Happiness". Mini bite size pieces that explodes with flavorful broth when a bite is taken. Hmmm mmhmm

We headed to a Paradigm Mall. Nothing much we just kinda walk around to kill time for our next food adventure and also to burn some calories. Every number counts

Fluffed Cafe & Dessert Bar. Newly opened and wow congratulations it is now in my own best waffles list.
To add on to the awesome-ness, their waffles menu are named using like childhood shows

We had Pooh's Bear Favorite 18myr (Hokeypokey ice-cream, salted caramel, crushed honeycomb and fruits) and Alice in Wonderland 19myr (Lavender blueberyy ice-cream, blueberry compote, butter crumble and fresh berries) which was also Fluffed recommended.
Not more than SGD$7 for one waffles. /faints/
Really cute Reindeer Lavender Latte

We headed to Karaoke and sing out lungs out at JJ.Lin songs.
Ok story telling.
The karaoke there is pretty much a whole new level. The rooms are big! Like imagine cushion seats, table in the middle and the tv at the front. We could even make the original singer pitch to be high or low to match our voices. And... WHAT?! The room comes with a private lavatory (toilet).
Quite hilarious because when we were following the guy into the room we made so much exclamation noises (like wow!! woahh! wah). He was a bit taken aback like are this people from Mars? And then I asked where is the toilet then he was like /huh?/ and pointed to the other corner of our room and we made even more noises. Hahahahah dat look on his face

We left earlier than the happy hours timing and headed to the long awaited Green View Restaurant.
The prawn noddles is really something that I will miss eating
We booked the whole restaurant for our last meal KL meal for 4 as Stephenie was gonna head back sg first. Kidding, we were too early for dinner

The prawns were as big as my hand. The thick sauce was packed with prawn flavors and the noodles that tasted like yee mian with strands that were a little thinner is partially crispy and soft. So much flavor and texture in a bite.

The remaining three of us decided to call it a day and headed back to the apartment to chill. We watched the movie "Room" had some mixed feelings about this particular weird scene ("can I?" "No you can't") and went to sleep.

KL 4 DAYS TRIP - Day 1 Mid Valley Megamall, Zanmai Sushi, Sae Mu Eul Jaya One and P.S. Tokyo #foureignjr

Three repetitive words; eat Eat EAT !!!

So thankful to be invited by Nadine and the super wonderful hosting received right from the start we set foot into the foreign ground

Off we go. Not to mention it was a totally great 21st surprise for Stephenie Grace Liew Qi Hui, though its belated. Hope I didn't get the name wrong

Headed for local breakfast, kinda like brunch. Literally like our SG market style. You know the place is legit when it is crowded with locals.
Had Penang Laksa for the longest time! Of course the Char Kway Teow... What more can I say /thumbs up/

O&S Restaurant (海天茶餐室)

We then headed to Mid Valley Megamall. As the name suggested, really really mega. Almost all the brands you can think of is situated there. Super huge, there is even like darts and bowling alley at the top level

We had late lunch at Sushi Zanmai which was super similar to Sushi Tei in SG yet really price worthy

Walked around the mall and then headed back to the apartment to take a little rest.

Ok story telling~
I bought Jo Malone perfume there because I did the calculation and realized it was about like $40-$50sgd cheaper. At first I thought it was the exchange rate but the salesperson told me that in Asia, Malaysia's Jo Malone is the cheapest. Jo Malone fans, you know where to go.
Here's the thing, I brought like $400-500sgd worth of ringgit and I was proudly telling my parents no need to change so much enough already. Even if I wanna gorge having almost 1500myr for only 3 and half day my stomach can't take it too. In the end, Day 1 was not even over and I was already trying to activate my card for overseas use when we were back at the apartment. Laughs

We then headed to Sae Ma Eul @ Jaya One for dinner. Gosh best korean food I have tasted so far. Really authentic feel as the boss and lady boss there are koreans. Flooded with locals as well lucky we got seats before the queue started
135myr only!! Dividing by 2.9 and 4 person. Korean BBQ at SGD$11 each. Please take my money.
We ordered a Pork & Squid BBQ set, rice ball ( seasoned rice with seaweed and anchovies), seafood pancake and a bottle of flavored soju.

The day can't be completed without desserts.
We went to P.S Tokyo which was highly recommended by Nadine about the soft serve ice creams.

I can't remember the exact name of the tart. Salted Matcha if I am not wrong. Really good and unique! Must try

It was 1030pm. We headed back and was talking about hitting the gym next morning. Too sinful but shiokkk~
