Day 7: TOKYO METROPOLITAN GOVT BUILDING, TOKYO IMPERIAL PALACE & TOKYO STATION

The title ^ is full of Tokyo Tokyo Tokyo. Its the day of Tokyo's Tokyo

We started the day with the ever familiar "Yoshinoya", this time from its origin country.
Lets just say if Singapore's Yoshinoya were to stop operating one day, I would not be surprise.
Utterly incomparable gosh. Please try Japan's Yoshinoya

Headed to Tocho-mae Station and made our way to TMG, Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, to have a good panoramic view of the skyline. Whispers, once again its free ;)

We headed for a Japanese style Eel lunch, which was pricey but it is one of the freshest. Worth a try

We then made our way to the Imperial Palace & East Garden that is at Ōtemachi Station. Basically as the name suggest it is where the emperor stays, though only a portion of inner area is open to the public.
First thing that came into my mind was OMG literally imagine our CBD area then suddenly there is a Garden looking entrance at the end of the CBD.
The front and the back view.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our 'around' welfie - Front, left, back
The rest is like a huge garden. Like significantly huge. We did not manage to finish exploring as our feet were killing us! We were strolling for close to 3hrs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We then headed to Tokyo Station for dinner as well as shopping at the 'First Avenue Tokyo' Station and 'Yaesu Shopping Mall'
Tokyo train station from above. Though there were construction going on that kinda block the view, but the English style design still stands out.

How can I leave Japan without eating Omu Rice?!

Taiyaki (fish shaped cake) is super special there because the outer layer is not like the usual ones we eat it is like croissant texture. Must try!

Jo decided to have some Jap style haircut. Handsome?

We ended the night at a nearby bistro

Just went I am getting real comfortable with the surroundings, 3 more nights left. Time pass extremely crazily fast when fun is the major component
The alarm in the morning, exploring the day with google map, getting frustrated at times of uncertainty, every scene and taste is a new experience and ending the night in the room with that familiar sore feet numbness while causally planning next day itinerary... Its ending soon
